Can you become a master safecracker?
You need to work out the safe’s code – fortunately, some of the numbers have already been worked out, but there are two missing slots to fill, and you need to work out what the sequence of numbers is in order to choose the right numbers to fill those slots.You can choose from three ranges of numbers to be quizzed on – numbers less than 10, less than 100 and less than 1000. Simply type the missing number from the sequence into the box provided. If you get it right, you can move on to the next question – but get it wrong and the shark at the bottom of the screen will gobble some points off your score!
This can be tricky too – with different difficulty levels that you can choose from, all of which can involve multiplication and division, but some of which involve negative numbers too. This gives quite a range for this activity, but mostly it is aimed at third and fourth grade kids.
Once you’re happy with the numbers you have chosen, click the unlock button. If you’ve got the right answer, the safe will open and reveal your prize!
