There’s a hungry, hungry caterpillar and he’s got an appetite for big numbers!
The counting caterpillar asks you to put five leaves, each marked with a number, in order along a branch, from the lowest to the highest. When you’re ready, click the caterpillar and if you’ve got it right, he’ll gobble his way along the branch. Get it wrong and he’ll turn his nose up at the leaves and ask you to try again.
At the start you can adjust sliders so you can choose the range of numbers you are testing – from 0 to seven as a minimum, or up to thousands!
A good way for kids in grades 1 to 3 to learn how numbers relate to each other, this is filled with friendly, fun graphics.
Get all your leaves in the right place and the well-fed caterpillar even turns into a butterfly!
